Yesterday I took a picture of each and everything I ate. I am very proud of myself! But I just looked through my camera, and lunch didn’t work. The picture took, but it won’t upload. What a bummer. BUT I am posting anyway – I’ll get the hang of this eventually.
Starting with breakfast. I had steel cut oats which I made in the crock pot a month ago, and then froze. Now I defrost as needed. I added some pomegranate seeds on top which were delicious!
For lunch I had a cup of homemade butternut squash soup, a soft pretzel, and an apple. I shouldn’t have had the soft pretzel, but this is Friendly PHILLY Food, now isn’t it? And it was so good.
After lunch I had what I have almost every day. A pumpkin spice Hershey’s Kiss. Just one. It’s perfectly sweet, and the perfect ending to my lunch. 
For dinner my mom made steak on the grill, sweet potatoes, butternut squash with garlic, and steamed snap peas. A really great, satisfying meal.
I had a glass of merlot on the side. And I passed up the bread, since I had that awesome Philly soft pretzel earlier. That is enough carbs for one day!
